Jupiter, FL- (May 1, 2018) Bluewater Babes Charitable Trust (BWB) hosted their Inaugural Swing Fore a Cure Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 14 at PGA National - Fazio Course in Palm Beach Gardens. Over 80 golfers participated in what was another fun-raising and fun-tastic event by Bluewater Babes.
Golfers enjoyed a delicious food truck lunch, a spectacular view of the decorated golf cart parade, fun contests and so muchmore! Decorated golf cart themes include d “Time for a Cure,” “Mermaids,” “Flamingos,” “Hula Gils,” “Big or Small-Save Them All” and “Save the Bumps Feel for Lumps”.
Proceeds from the event will allow BWB to continue to provide financial assistance to local women suffering from either breast or ovarian cancer. It is their mission to help these women by reducing the amount of stress caused by the financial burden of cancer, so they may focus on their healing and survivorship.
“We didn’t just want to do another charity golf tournament – we wanted to create something unique – something our followers expected – decorated golf carts and caddie babes of course,” said Jennifer McGrath, Director of BWB. “And Team Babe did it again! I’m just in awe of the committee and their dedication in making these events happen!” It was a huge success!
